I want to use Nitinol wire to pull a collar closed on an electrical connector for an extension cord.
quick connect ... quick release... no voltage out of extension cord
Red is the color of the fake tool ... maybe it is a drill.... there are two conductive rings ( yellow ).... plus a conductive end cap ( yellow )
connector ( female ) until it mates and locks.
An extension cord female slides over end cap and two rings and then squeezes to smaller diameter.
this makes electrical contact and locks the extension cord to the tool.
End cap is *hot* , center ring is ground and top ring is neutral
